*Peanut Concern
We found a peat alternative and one of it's ingredients is peanut shells/husks. We added this to a few of our flower beds. We will look to use a peanut free alternative next year, 2027.
How long will my flowers last?
Most of the flowers I grow have a vase-life of approximately 7 days. I do grow some stems like zinnias that have a vase-life of 7-10 days and ranunculus that have a vase-life of 10-12 days. Dahlias, a specialty flower, have a vase-life of 3-5 days.
What if you are not able to pick up a bouquet one week?
If you are unable to pick up your flower subscription one week, please invite a friend in advance to be the recipient of your bouquet to enjoy. Please let us know about your arrangement.
What if I am not going straight home after picking up my flowers?
Please bring a jar of water to set your flowers in. Also, if it is warm or hot out do not leave your flowers in the car. If it is cool out, put them in water in the shade and do not leave them in the car for long.
